A client called me the other day. She had several boxes of family photos and no idea what to do with them. Her new home doesn't have the wall space for a collage and she didn't want them trapped in a box getting ruined in the attic.
After going through the photos, I wandered into the garage to see if there was any furniture which hadn't yet found a place in the house. I came across a lovely antique dining room table and rug that was rolled up and hiding underneath. We immediately moved them into the Master bedroom, pulled out several of her favorite photos and "Viola" a wonderful space filled with keepsakes.
The lonely chair from our "before" picture didn't go to waste either. Although it didn't match the colors in the bedroom, we had a quilt that did. We moved the chair to another area of the bedroom, folded the quilt to cover most of the chair, and placed a throw pillow in the corner. Now everything looks cozy.
Take a look at the before and after photos to see what was done.
Check back later to find out what we did with the rest of the photos. No, they aren't going in a box or the garbage. I promise.
